About Rake Consulting

Rake Consuling was born in early 2003. As a website design and support consultant, Corinna provides the much-needed support for the electronic marketing side of business, specializing in service providing operations, namely professional/personal coaches, speakers and trainers. With her diploma in Computer Engineering Technology, more than 7 years industry experience, and natural creative flair, if it can be imagined, she can make it happen in cyberspace.

Skip ahead three years to early 2006... Corinna reached a crossroad in her business. With a successful, referal-driven consultancy, she was beginning to feel the crunch of working a one-woman show out of her home. It was time to decide "should I partner with one or two other professionals to provide a 'total' package including logo design, marketing materials, etc. to support my clients with more of what they were naturally growing to need; or do I take the opportunity that seemed to appear at exactly the right time, that was a natural 'next-step' for me, as a Quality Manager with a local branding agency?" After carefully weighing her options, Corinna chose the latter and is pleased with her decision, and excited to be able to continue serving clients with their website needs, albeit on a larger scale.

Corinna thrives on the challenge of portraying an individual or firm's personality in their website. Making the move to Image Design was a natural progression to be a part of the challenge at a company-level, primarily for web design, but also being a part of the entire branding process.

Graduating with honours from Computer Engineering Technology, Corinna followed her career direction into software development, to discover that her passion lies in creating visual interfaces. This discovery naturally led to website development, with the programming knowledge to provide Corinna with a broad array of capabilities to offer her clients. Her attention to detail and ability to review website content with a discerning eye make Corinna an ideal support for website development and maintenance.

Her greatest achievement to date is the birth of her son in 2004. Corinna loves motherhood. Not your usual 'computer geek', she is very easy to work with and prides herself in doing whatever it takes to make her client's projects perfect to their satisfaction.

Corinna continually expands her knowledge in the marketing aspect of small business, with a primary focus on the virtual, internet-based forum. She eagerly shares her knowledge with her clients.
