Michael wanted a site to refer potential clients to
as a reference. Not wanting to invest a lot, we used
the existing slope on his business card and designed
a very simple, easy to navigate site.

and Melissa of choose love not fear
had a very clear idea for their website. They just
needed someone to put it together for them. Working
with a graphic designer and Melissa's own fabulous
artwork (featured on the home page), we created a
stunning and functional website. Both Melissa and
Nick have since referred clients to RC
and we are in the beginning stages of creating another
website together. Check back in the New Year for their
new site.

December 2005 - Dr. Richard Casavant is the founder
of Coach Excellence, Inc., a group of executive coaches
dedicated to bringing Excellence to every part of
your life. Dr. Casavant is a coniseur of fine wines
and music. He was looking for a website that reflected
his sophisticated tastes and strength in business.
We were able to develop a design that met his requirements
using rich colors of gold, purple and blue in a simple
layout that is easy to navigate.

Early 2005 -
Michele is a coach, speaker and health services
provider based in Calgary, Alberta. She is very
in touch with nature and wanted a website that reflected
that passion and calm. Working with a great collection
of personal photos in nature and Michele's logo,
we came up with a simple site that shares her love
for the outdoors.

Summer 2004 -
"Claim Your Potential" is Coach Sharon's website title
and her website needed to reflect that strength
and simplicity. Specializing in coaching parents
and children with learning weaknesses, Sharon wanted
to share information and encourage her visitors
to contact her regarding her various workshops.
The site is easy to navigate and uses a very simple, clean
layout so as not to distract from the message.
CoachSharon.com is no longer active.
March 2005 - Custom Golf Events provides golf tournament
planning for businesses or groups, everything from
securing promotional merchandise to electronic scoring.
Based in British Columbia, CGE worked with Rake
Consulting to develop a professional website
with online registration capabilities and a place
to display tournament results.
Due to unforeseen complications, Custom Golf Events
was retired December 2005.
Spring 2005
- Direct Signs in Kingston, Ontario, Canada had a
website shell but they weren't pleased with how it
worked or looked. Rake Consulting
came up with a brand new design which incorporated
their signature 'cartoon' tagline while keeping it
professional looking at the same time. A work in progress,
Direct Signs has added the RC WebEdit Pro software
so they can make their own updates and additions to
their ever-growing portfolio.
UPDATE: DirectSigns.ca was redeveloped using Flash
while RC was on hiatus. The original design was maintained.

Summer 2006 - Dr. Jason and Stephanie Gray have a Chiropractic
office in the small community of Fall River, Nova Scotia, Canada.
They wanted a website that was informative for their patients and
general visitors. The website had to be fresh and professional
looking, and a bit of dynamic content was added in the form of
random image display in the top banner.

Summer 2006 - Filosofi is a thriving chiropractic clinic
with a really neat name in the National Capital. Filosofi had a
website that was dated and needed a fresh look. Rake Consulting
connected the existing newsletter signup capabilities and provided
a simple way to add the bi-weekly newsletter to the online archive.

Winter
2004 - Dr. Lena Hatzichronoglou, founder of Hellenic
Visions, came to Rake Consulting with a request
for an updated look for her website (logo was created by Stephen Goodfellow). Already
accustomed to making her own updates using FrontPage™,
she wanted a fresh, more professional appearance.
Working closely with Lena, RC was able to create
a simple design, which is easy to navigate and update.
Her speeches, coaching, Greek traveling and teaching
are all informed by the stories and wisdom of the
Greek Classics, which are the subject of her passion
and her life long training.

Fall
2005 - High Impact Coaching, with Paula as "the High
Impact Coach", needed a website where visitors could
find out about Paula and her coaching services. Of
course it also needed to make a High Impact
impression. Using bold colors and a simple layout,
theHighImpactCoach.com really leaves a lasting impression
with its visitors.

Fall 2005 - Jean is a coach who specializes in working
with Business women, RD's (Registered Dietitians)
and Entrepreneurs to inspire and empower them, one
woman at a time. Jean came to RC
with a strong marketing vision and was very clear
about what she wanted her website to say. It was
very important to Jean that her site not look boring
and stiff, but still be professional. She also needed
a logo and wanted to incorporate the mountain theme
from her company name of McKinley Coaching &
Consulting LLC, which RC was
able to deliver.
JeanCaton.net was redesigned by another developer while RC was on hiatus.
Before retiring
in the summer of 2005, Kathryn was a very successful
executive and mentor coach. She became a client of
RC in late 2003 and we worked together
on both her coaching website and her Bed & Breakfast
website, WindWalker Ranch (also retired). Kathryn
wanted a simple, soft, yet professional website where
she could invite visitors to sign up for her periodic
newsletter and purchase her eBook.

May 25, 2006 - Susan and Jennifer are business coaches
from two different cities who realized they compliment
each other's style very well and decided to form a
partnership offering their expertise and services
to a larger audience. The unique challenge of representing
two personalities in a unified, professional manner
resulted in a beautiful two-tone site that is very
pleasing to the eye, informative, easy to navigate,
and professional.

November 2005 - Claressa bid and won the auction item
donated by Rake Consulting to the
Association of Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practioners
(AMTWP). She wanted a 'make-over' of her existing
site that she had done herself. RC
was able to use beautiful images already on the site
in a new way, along with her logo that was previously
hidden away, to create a stunning and simple design
that Claressa fell in love with more and more, each time she
looked at it.

- Rake Consulting was hired to create
a chapter website where the Ottawa/Outaouis region's
International Coach Federation (ICF) Chapter members
could have a listing and find out about upcoming chapter
meetings. With a logo designed by Jon
Ball, RC came up with a bold
site with "Find a Coach" search capabilities
and easy navigation. This site is also bilingual with
all pages available in both English and French.
OttawaCoaches.ca was redesigned in 2007 while RC
was on hiatus, but we are still involved in the maintenance.
Fall 2005 - Now on our third website together, Pauline
and RC have worked closely as both
businesses have grown. This latest design is by far
the best. It is professional, attractive and highlights
Pauline's 3 areas of expertise in a simple way. We
incorprated a brand new logo and great professional
photos of Pauline. Pauline has always been a strong
supporter of RC and has referred
many clients. She is also set up with the RC WebEdit
Pro software to be able to make her own updates.
PaulineFleming.com underwent another design change with a
different designer while RC was on hiatus.
December 2005 - Dr. Jennifer Salib Huber, principal of Pillars of Health, is a Doctor
of Naturopathic Medicine located in Nova Scotia. As
Jenn was building her practice, she realized the need
for an online presence to allow her to share information
with her clients and as a resource for those that
would like to learn more about Naturopathic Medicine
and working with and ND. Using "natural"
colors and a simple design, we were able to create
a visually stunning site that will be easy for Dr. Salib Huber
to maintain herself.
UPDATE: Dr. Salib Huber opened her own practice in
Dec. 2008 and the look of the website was updated to
incorporate the clinic branding.

- Jamie of Spark Success Coaching Inc. wanted a professional
looking website that reflected her personality and
love of the outdoors. We worked together to create
a soft, flowing site with bold colors and interesting
images with an outdoor theme. Jamie also has a very
simple logo which RC was able to
turn into an animated "spark" on the website. The
intro Flash animation was done by Jon
Ball and gives a short, yet impactful entrance
to SparkSuccess.com.
SparkSuccess.com was redesigned with another agency while RC was on hiatus.
Summer 2005
- Suzanne had a very attractive website, but it was
nearly impossible to navigate and was done entirely
in Flash. Suzanne wanted something that was simple,
clear, easy to navigate, yet still look attractive
and professional. She was also looking for a website
that she could maintain easily herself. We were able
to produce a website exactly as Suzanne wanted and
it is set up with the RC WebEdit Pro software so she
can easily make updates to her website whenever she needs.
SuzanneSchell.com was redesigned by another agency while RC was on hiatus.
August
2008 - Dr. Sarah Harding, ND was opening a brand new Naturopathic Clinic
in Dartmouth and needed a website to provide information and resources
to her potential clients and additional practitioners. She was referred to Rake Consulting
by Dr. Jennifer Salib Huber of Pillars of Health.
Within a couple months, Sarah's website was online. Her website included the RCWebEdit Pro software so she
can easily make her own content updates.
